KVK farm has a backyard poultry unit at 50sq/M where we are rearing Commercial Chabro Breed (Local Breeds) which are suitable for backyard poultry farming in the district. This is a dual-purpose poultry breed where an adult hen weighs around 2-2.5 kg at 07 weeks and gives 150-200 eggs per year.
