Solar Farm Demonstration Unit:
The solar unit at KVK was developed with the object of getting additional income through power generation rather than agricultural land with cultivations of different crops.
Area : 01 Acre
Power distribution: KVK, NHRDF and NAFED through BSES Grid based on virtual net metering through third-party agreement.
Electricity Generation: 110 KW
Financial support: Delhi Transco Ltd. and NABARD, New Delhi

automatic weather station (AWS), DAMU
An automatic weather station has been established at KVK, Ujwa with the help of the Indian Meteorological Department and Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Farmers are made aware by the KVK through weekly agricultural weather advisories, taking advantage of which farmers complete their agricultural work.

De-Humified Seed Storage
AC-Dehumidified seed storage under MIDH is used for keeping the seeds of crops safe and sustaining the shelf life and vigour of the seed. The capacity of storage is 15 MT.
Rain Water Harvesting Pond
KVK also has two rainwater harvesting ponds in which rainwater collects during the raining season for the KVK farm.
