At KVK, Delhi has a fully-fledged soil testing laboratory, in which soil samples are analysed for pH, macro and micronutrient levels. Based on this, Soil Analysis leads to more informed fertilizer decisions, reducing risks in the soil such as soil erosion, soil infertility, and degraded lands and increasing farm profitability in the long term.
- Plant health clinic lab
This Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Delhi has established a plant health clinic that provides farm consultancy services of all types, free of cost to farmers. The laboratory functions in pest and disease diagnosis, identification of causal organisms and remedies for the farming at large community.
